Good news!! As of January 26, 2010, Multicare still has H1N1 and seasonal flu shots available. The shots are available at all three locations; Fridley Medical Center, Blaine Medical Center or Roseville Medical Center. Call 763-785-4500 to make a vaccination appointment.
H1N1 vaccine is recommended for the following groups:
Pregnant women
Individuals that live with or provide care to infants 6 months and younger
Children, adolescents and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
Adults 25-64 years of age with medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or a suppressed immune system that put them at higher risk for infulenza related complications
Health care and emergency medical services personnel
If you or any of your children are in one of those priority groups please contact 763-785-4500 to make an H1N1 vaccination appointment. Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended and available to all patients. You can request to receive the seasonal flu vaccination and H1N1 at the same appointment.
