Good news!! As of January 26, 2010, Multicare still has H1N1 and seasonal flu shots available. The shots are available at all three locations; Fridley Medical Center, Blaine Medical Center or Roseville Medical Center. Call 763-785-4500 to make a vaccination appointment.
H1N1 vaccine is recommended for the following groups:
Pregnant women
Individuals that live with or provide care to infants 6 months and younger
Children, adolescents and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
Adults 25-64 years of age with medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or a suppressed immune system that put them at higher risk for infulenza related complications
Health care and emergency medical services personnel
If you or any of your children are in one of those priority groups please contact 763-785-4500 to make an H1N1 vaccination appointment. Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended and available to all patients. You can request to receive the seasonal flu vaccination and H1N1 at the same appointment.

Physician Joins Multicare, January 2009
Dr. Rynn Burke completed her residency at the University of Minnesota. She is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Burke will be seeing patients at the Blaine Medical Center as well as rounding on pediatric patients at Unity Hospital.

Same Day Mammogram Appointments Available, October 2008
The Fridley Medical Center and Blaine Medical Center both offer same day mammography. Women can call and schedule a mammogram for the same day they are due for a physical or just walk right in and get a mammogram.
New Blaine Medical Center Opens, May 2007
Multicare is proud to announce the opening of a new Blaine Medical Center clinic at 11855 Ulysses Street NE. The former site was at 12175 Aberdeen Street NE. At the new site, Multicare will continue to offer physicians in the following specialties: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN and General Surgery. In adddition, the new facility has a pharmacy, eye clinic, diagnostic imaging center (MRI, CT and Ultrasound) and physical therapy.
